- Đọc nhanh qua các câu hỏi để hiểu rõ yêu cầu và nắm bắt loại thông tin cần tìm trước khi nghe.
- Sử dụng kiến thức đã biết và thông tin đã nghe để dự đoán câu trả lời trước khi đoạn tiếp theo bắt đầu.
- Giữ sự tập trung cao độ vào bài nghe, hạn chế xao nhãng.
- Chú ý lắng nghe những từ/cụm từ quan trọng trong câu hỏi, và tìm những từ ngữ tương tự trong bài nghe.
- Ghi chú các thông tin quan trọng như số liệu, tên riêng, ngày tháng, địa điểm và những chi tiết cốt lõi khác.
- Tìm hiểu ý chính của đoạn hội thoại và để ý các chi tiết nhỏ để trả lời chính xác.
- Nhận diện các từ nối, từ chỉ thời gian, từ chỉ định và những dấu hiệu ngôn ngữ khác để hiểu cấu trúc và ý nghĩa của bài nghe.
- Đặt thời gian nhất định để hoàn thành mỗi câu hỏi.
- Thường xuyên luyện nghe các bài thi IELTS thực tế để quen với tốc độ, giọng nói và độ khó của đề thi.
